This is really good, but I have to ask Is stamper the one wearing the spiked helmet? I couldn't tell, because you drew his muscles quite bulky. While in real life he's kinda slender.

deathink responds:

This was commissioned after Stamper left SleepyCabin, so he doesn't appear in this picture. The guy in the helmet is Cory (spazkid).

This is a real eye catcher. The contrast between the colours looks stunning. I love it.

This is very stylish, really nice use of colours.

Coincidentally I recently watched something about the mass hatching and processing of chicks in a factory. Kinda gave me an odd feeling seeing hundreds of disoriented baby chicks hatch in this cold steel environment. After which, bins full of them get tossed onto a assembly line, like it's a lifeless product.

Anyway it's something that this reminded me of, seeing the expiration date on the egg and the bird missing it's mother.

:) These where some of the thoughts I had too, when I made it. Just wrapped in some humor:)
Thanks for noticing, and pointing it out.
I'm glad You liked it :)

This is a nice one, keep them coming. I'd vote for tank babe, or call her rocket girl, I'm sure Jamie Hewlett wouldn't mind ;)

HugoTendaz responds:

Thanks man. I hope he wouldn't mind. It's almost fan art of Tank Girl :) Maybe you are right, Rocket Girl would be homage to the great Jamie Hewlett and Newgrounds together :)

His helmet doesn't quite look like the original, but it looks nice. Maybe you could have made it so that his helmet was damaged like in some of those episodes, where part of his brain was showing. That would have given you an excuse to add some nice pinks to the mix.

You're right. I tried to make this sculpt from memory, but I got a lot of things wrong (His cape was red at one point haha). Thanks for the feedback, mate!

I must say the preview doesn't do this piece justice. Only when see this close up, that's when magic happens. The way lighting diminishes and weaves on individual strings of hair and the skin textures are really impressive.

This is the exact reason why I dislike social media for private use. It's as if something didn't even happen, until you post about it online. People are trying so hard to lookinteresting, it's disturbing.

This is one of 'those' subjects.. I need to thread carefully here, so all I will say is.. if you want a long and extensive review from me for which i have to work harder all I want in return is $15 an hour.

The thing that felt off to me were te eyes. I couldn't quite decide what it was about them so i looked up some images and stumbled upon the one you referenced. Honestly, I still can't tell why. Also I do think the shading could use some work. The lighting of the hair in particular could be improved, by leaving some whites of the page open. Just like you did with the very right side of her face.

Everything else feels great, I think you are being to hard on yourself. You included enough details of the game to make the overall image look less generic, but still managed to keep it nice and simple. That's what I like the most about this piece.

You may lack some technical and observational skills, but that is resolved with practise. The thing I think you are close to mastering is probably proven most difficult, which is appeal. Keep up the good work.

Can't stop staring at them sexy shins and knees. It all just looks phenomenal.
