And he better start doing it before they have to take their afternoon nap. Kids these days..

This is raw!

I think you made a good choice by minimizing the colour in the background. While simultaneously using the moonlight to emanate onto him. Can't keep my eyes of this piece.

Three anatomy flaws i noticed almost instantly.

First. The raised arm, in particularly the hand of that arm. I know what you were trying to go for, but it turned out looking unnatural. It looks backwards. Either the inside of the hand should be facing us with the arm raised that high in that exact same position. Or lower the arm, make the lower arm foreshadow the upper arm with the hand remaining like it is now. If you mimic that arm you'll know what i mean.

Second. There is no gap between the thighs in a 3/4 positioned stance. You can, but only if we were looking at the character from the front. Or the leg has to stick out much further without the lower legs crossing eachother. A part of the upperthigh of the back leg should be hiding behind the frontlegs thigh. It's hard to notice especially when she is sticking that leg out, but the thighs should still make contact.

Third. If we look at the shape of the lower leg. A leg is never curved like that all the way. It stops 3/4 of the way down and pretty much continues straight down connecting to the heel. Also look at the size of the lower leg and than at the size of the upper part of the same leg. The proportions don't match up. They are nearly the same size. The lower leg isn't that significantly close to the viewer to become that big.

I hope i'm not being too harsh here. I do like it that you picked complimentary colours and sticked to different hues of blue for the clothing. Makes it pleasent for the eye.
If you study more on anatomy you'll be fine.

thank you very much, i appreciate it and will try me best : )!

No way. I basically discovered FZD today and now stumble upon your work. I watched a video in which Feng mentioned something about suggestive violence in concept art not actual violence. So unfortunately no mermaid killing today haha.

I can't advice on the technical aspect of concept art, it's not my area of expertise. I do character design in my own time but nothing like this. However i do like the visuals. The only thing i can mention is this fictional creature feeds on and gets hunted by existing creatures. Can't quite put them in the same catagory.

Good luck.

and thanks!:)

The thing that bothers me is that grove street is actually ballas territory now, that shit is messed up. Other than that this piece is funny as hell aside from the simplicity you managed to portray the characters very well.

I love this piece. So much detail, the veins, muscles and those picture perfect gloves.

Just one minor thing, it seems that the angle of the forearm should be more like 3/4th sideway instead of full. Looking at the position of the fist hitting the face. Great work.

Those tits are smoking hot. No pun intended :) awesome comic
